I’m in no way an expert at the use of drones and lack of a CAA licence means i cannot do this for anything but pleasure but Drone photography and Video has been a very exciting and challenging new experience.
I was quite impressed by the DJI Phantom 4’s drone still capability after my inaugural flight at Haytor on Dartmoor. The video quality is out of this world, and whilst i dont have budget for my own drone, the higher quality DJI Inspire 1 must be really impressive.
Learning to fly the DJI Phantom 4 has been a fun, if somewhat nerve-wracking experience so far. The improvements on the Phantom 4 are very impressive, including a very handy anti-colission detection which works only when the dron is flying forwards and also some advanced videography features like being able to track a moving subject such as a cyclist or being able to do an automated flight around an object. If you have never flown a drone before its certainly an experience i’d recommend and i certainly may aim to get qualified to use this professional down the line
